Bangladesh-এর চাকরির বাজারের কিছু unique বৈশিষ্ট্য আছে:
- "CV" শব্দটি সর্বাধিক ব্যবহৃত (resume নয়)
- Photo, signature, এবং কিছু personal details অনেক employer expect করেন
- Government চাকরির জন্য (BCS/BPSC) নির্দিষ্ট format থাকে

- References সরাসরি resume-এ দেওয়া more common (international practice-এর বিপরীতে)

🏢 Corporate (Local Private Sector)
সবচেয়ে diverse sector। Small local company থেকে large conglomerate পর্যন্ত। Generally flexible, কিন্তু conservative formats safer।

- "CV" নামে document, কিন্তু content মূলত resume-style
- 1-2 pages, professional font
- Photo include করা optional — job posting দেখুন
- References সাধারণত directly listed (২-৩ জন)

🏦 Banking
Bangladesh-এ banking sector formal এবং traditional। CV-তে significantly more detail expected।
Typical expectations
- Formal "CV" — সাধারণত ২ pages
- Detailed personal information section (often)
- Photo সাধারণত required
- Education details (SSC, HSC, Bachelor's, Master's) — board, year, GPA সহ

🏛️ Government (BCS / BPSC)
BCS এবং অন্যান্য government চাকরি সম্পূর্ণ form-based application। Resume traditional sense-এ লাগে না।

- BPSC-র specific online application form use করতে হয়
- প্রতিটি field structured — name, parent names, DOB, religion, NID, address, education, etc.
- Photo এবং signature scanned upload required
- সব documents (NID, certificates) সঠিকভাবে scan করে provide করতে হয়

🌍 NGO (International)
UN, WHO, UNICEF, World Bank, ADB, USAID-এর local offices — সাধারণত international resume format follow করে।

🔒 Privacy Consideration
Photo include করলে আপনার physical appearance-ভিত্তিক unconscious bias-এর সম্ভাবনা থাকে। আপনি এই trade-off-এর কথা মাথায় রেখে decision নিন। যদি job posting specifically photo না চায়, এবং MNC/international company হয় — photo না দেওয়াই safer। যদি local employer expectations include photo, এবং আপনি comfortable — তাহলে include করুন।
NID, Religion, Marital Status — কখন দিবেন?
BD-এর কিছু employers এই information request করেন, যা international standards-এ unusual। এই section honest practical advice দেবে।
National ID (NID)
- Application stage-এ সাধারণত প্রয়োজন নেই — বেশিরভাগ employer initial CV-তে NID expect করেন না।
- Interview stage বা job offer পরে — verification, payroll, এবং HR system-এর জন্য required হতে পারে।
- Government চাকরির application-এ NID required।
- Banking jobs final stage-এ KYC compliance-এর জন্য required।
⚠️ Privacy Tip
Initial application-এ NID দেওয়ার দরকার সাধারণত নেই। যদি application form specifically চায়, তাহলে দিন। কিন্তু "resume-এ NID লিখব" — এটা সাধারণ practice না, এবং unnecessary privacy exposure।
Religion
- সাধারণত resume-এ লেখার দরকার নেই
- কিছু পুরোনো template বা specific government form-এ field থাকে — সে ক্ষেত্রে যা চাওয়া হয় দিন
- International applications-এ সম্পূর্ণ avoid
🔒 Why This Matters
Religion-ভিত্তিক discrimination, যদিও legally addressed অনেক দেশে, practical reality-তে exist করে। যদি specifically চাওয়া না হয়, religion include না করাই সাধারণত safer choice।
Marital Status, Gender, Date of Birth
- International resume-এ avoid (anti-discrimination)
- BD local context-এ historically common ছিল, কিন্তু practice change হচ্ছে
- Government form-এ required হলে দিন
- Banking আবেদনে কখনো asked, কখনো না
- Modern MNC / tech / startup-এ avoid
Parent Names, Permanent Address, Blood Group
- Resume-এ সাধারণত relevant না — verification এবং emergency contact-এর জন্য পরে নেওয়া হয়
- Government application form-এ required
- Initial resume-এ unnecessary privacy exposure
References — BD Context
International practice (especially USA/Canada) — "References available upon request" বা সম্পূর্ণ omit। কিন্তু BD-এ পরিস্থিতি আলাদা।
BD-এ General Practice
- ২-৩ জন reference সরাসরি resume-এ list করা more common
- প্রতি reference-এর জন্য: Name, Designation, Organization, Phone, Email
- সাধারণত previous supervisor, teacher, বা professional contact
- অনুমতি ছাড়া কাউকে list করবেন না — সবসময় আগে অনুমতি নিন
⚠️ Always Get Permission First
Reference হিসেবে কাউকে list করার আগে সবসময় তাদের প্রথমে অনুমতি নিন এবং inform করুন কোন position-এর জন্য apply করছেন। Surprise contact থেকে তারা ভালো reference দিতে পারেন না।
